Citroën Ami - 100% Electric joins the fleet of San Giorgio del Porto

The ten Citroën Ami, supplied by the GECAR dealership in Genoa, will be used by the shipyard's staff to move around the ship repair area of the Port of Genoa, in line with the company's goal of reducing emissions and bringing its activities into line with environmental priorities.

As part of a plan to modernise its fleet of motorised vehicles and energy transition, aimed at cutting emissions and bringing the yard's activities in line with environmental priorities, San Giorgio del Porto found in Citroën Ami -100% ëlectric the ideal answer to its mobility needs. 

Supplied by the GECAR dealership in Genoa, the ten Citroën Ami will be used by staff to move around the ship repair area of the Port of Genoa, mainly between the head office, the docks and the dry docks where the ships are being repaired, in line with the company's goal of cutting emissions and bringing the yard's activities into line with environmental priorities.

The Citroën Ami -100% ëlectric's silent, CO2 -free drive allows every journey to be made in full respect of the environment; its autonomy of up to 75 km is more than enough to cover many days of use. Its 5.5 KWh battery, which powers the 6 KW electric motor, has an extremely simple recharging process that is completed in just three hours from a standard 220 V socket, ready for the next use.
